But Why Meditate?
Maybe stress is working well for you?
It gives you the drive you need to meet deadlines, juggle many activities and achieve a great deal in your life.
Beyond a certain point, however, stress stops being helpful and starts causing major damage to your health.
It can negatively impact your mood, your productivity, your relationships and your quality of life.
You might experience:
Health and weight issues
Over-thinking & fluctuating moods
Feeling fearful about the future
If these symptoms sound familiar, you are probably experiencing too much stress.
I have experienced first-hand how the practice of guided deep relaxation and regular meditation results in a more positive outlook on life.
Jennifer attended one of our school in-service training days. We had identified staff mental health and wellbeing as a priority on our improvement plan this year and invited Jennifer to deliver a Meditation session for a group of our staff.
Feedback was extremely positive following this and a subsequent session was then arranged for a number of our teaching staff.
Since the sessions, three of our teachers now regularly attend Jennifer's scheduled meditation sessions at Choose You studio in Livingston.
We are also exploring more regular, in-house sessions for our staff as they have been so well received.
